An Environmental Management System (EMS) is a management tool that helps organizations comply with environmental statutes. An EMS provides facility specific environmental policies and procedures as well as an auditable system for tracking, managing and improving environmental performance.

An EMS is typically integrated within an organization's management structure, similar to a financial management system. Most organizations model their EMS after the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14000 series of environmental standards, which include ISO 14001 and ISO 14004. Green Plan Ltd. has helped companies develop and implement EMS programs from operation-specific environmental polices and procedures to company-wide environmental management programs.

Green Plan Ltd. training courses deal with many different aspects of environmental management in the workplace. Our instructors bring years of hands-on experience in the field of environmental management to the training programs. Their knowledge is presented in an informative, interactive setting where the participants are encouraged to discuss environmental issues and look at real-life case studies.
