EDUCATION AND INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Bachelors of Science – Honors in Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology – University of Alberta.

Keegan Van Slyke is an Environmental biologist in training, with one year completed so far within the industry. He has already accumulated plenty of experience in water quality monitoring, fish salvages, and is also currently undergoing training for wetland assessments.

He has worked on a a variety of different projects involving urban and rural municipalities and construction monitoring. He has also worked on large scale projects such as the Site C Dam Project as well as a variety of projects involving CN Rail.

Keegan has been certified in rapid wetlands assessments using ABWRET-A and electrofishing for use in fish salvages.

In his free time, Keegan is an avid rock climber, hiker, and camper. He also has a passion for entomology.
