We were retained by SE Design and Consulting Inc. to undertake a limited Environmental Overview to assist in the development of a Master Development Plan for future expansion of sites and amenities for the Cold Lake Park, owned and operated by the Municipal District of Bonnyville.
Limited Fish Habitat Assessment for a boat launch - Lac La Biche, AB
We were retained by Lac La Biche County to undertake a Limited Fish Habitat Assessment of a proposed boat launch on Lac La Biche. The principal physical work involved the construction of a pre-cast launch below the high water mark. The project triggered the
Wetland Habitat Bank Initiative - Alberta Transportation
We were retained by Alberta Transportation (AT) to assist in the development of the Department's Wetland Habitat Banking Initiative. The cornerstone of the initiative was for AT to become a Wetland Restoration Agency for the purpose of allowing the Department to develop, manage, and utilize a wetland habitat bank. In 2014, this project received the Minister's Award for Transportation Innovation. This prestigious award recognizes projects that demonstrate excellence in design, construction, environmental, safety or operational innovations.
Biophysical and Wetland Assessment -
Lac La Biche, AB
We were retained by SE Design and Consulting Inc. to undertake a Biophysical and Wetland Assessment in support of an Area Structure Plan (ASP) for a 85 ha residential development in Lac La Biche, AB. The project triggered the Provincial Water Act for potential, unavoidable impact to wetlands.
